2014 Fender 60th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster

Summary: This Fender 60th Anniversary Commemorative Stratocaster, available in 2014 only,  is a beautifully crafted U.S.-made instrument that celebrates six decades of the world's greatest electric guitar. Fine features and appointments include an ash body with a comfortably contoured heel, three special-design 1954 single-coil Strat pickups, a compound-radius fingerboard, gold hardware, custom-engraved neck plate and headstock ingot, and a beautiful 2-Color Sunburst gloss finish. Other premium features include a maple neck with modern C profile and satin finish, maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and black pearloid inlays, Micro-Tilt neck adjustment mechanism, five-way pickup switching and no-load tone control for middle and bridge pickups, two-point synchronized tremolo bridge with vintage-style stamped steel saddles, and deluxe tuners with white pearloid buttons. 

Body: Ash in two color Sunburst finish.

Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard,  25.5” scale length,  1.68” nut width, 22 frets, black pearloid dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Special-Design 1954 Strat Single-Coil pickups,  Deluxe Cast/Sealed with Pearl Button tuning keys,  2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage-Style Stamped Steel Saddles, Parchment plastic knobs,  synthetic bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
