2011 Gibson Les Paul Special

Summary: This 2011 Gibson Les Paul Special, with its easy-gigging weight and P-90 chunk ’n’ chime will earn this guitar a special place in any guitarist’s collection. A breathable nitrocellulose lacquer finish, handwired electronics, and a vintage ’60s mahogany neck make this single-cut a dead ringer for yesterday’s sought-after classics.  

Body: Mahogany in Cherry finish.

Neck:  Mahogany with a bound Rosewood fingerboard,  24.75” scale length, 1.69” nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Gibson P-90 single coils pickups, Kluson Deluxe tuning keys,  tune-o-matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece, black speed knobs, bone nut. 

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has very light surface scratches on the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has very light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
