1976 Gibson Bicentennial Firebird Limited Edition Sunburst

Body: Mahogany body with Sunburst finish

Neck: Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard, 12” radius, 25.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, Pearl block inlays, 22 frets, pearl trapezoid inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Original Gibson Firebird pickups in the neck and bridge, original “banjo” style tuning keys, Original Gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop-tail piece, volume and tone knobs for each pickup with 3-way switch, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in good condition overall. It has light surface scratches on the top and the back of the body has some light buckle rash. There is some minor picking wear in between the pickups. There is one extra strap button hole on the upper horn. The back of the neck is clean, and the original frets show light wear. There are no neck or heel repairs and the finish is all original with no refinishing. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set-up low and comfortable.

Case: This guitar ships with the original hardshell Gibson case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
