Summary:
Hand crafted in Canada, this Godin Multiac is a very unique guitar with
a surprising amount of volume for its thin body. The herringbone binding and sunburst finish is
a timeless touch to this modern steel string and the Fishman pickup/preamp
system with 4 different mic imaging voices make it very versatile. It is in beautiful shape, has just been setup
and restrung by our in-house luthier and ships in its original Godin gig bag.
Body: Sunburst
solid spruce top, chambered mahogany body herringbone and cream binding.
Neck: Mahogany neck with richlite fingerboard,
offset pearl dots, slotted headstock, 25 ½” scale length and 1 11/16” nut
width.
Pickups/Hardware: Tusq
nut and saddle, ebony bridge, engraved nickel plated tuning keys with pearl
buttons and black strap lock style strap buttons. The onboard Fishman electronics have 4
blendable sound imaging mic sounds, dual source preamp, volume, treble, middle,
bass and blend faders and a phase switch.
Cosmetics: This Godin is
in phenomenal shape with only one light scratch on the back and a few light
pick scratches here and there.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has
just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 12s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully
functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no grooves
or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no
dead spots or choking out.
