SPIRIT WAS Mouthbreather Fuzz "Free Shipping in the USA"

"Mouthbreather" is fuzz with a booster added. Use them separately or together. I keep the boost on all the time to make my little amp distort without being too loud, then I use the fuzz to play a guitar solo, or make lots of feedback on purpose. The overdrive can be subtle and textural at lower volumes, or distorted and overdriven. The fuzz circuit has a vintage style, like a fuzz face. It’s explosive and wild at higher volumes but adjustments to volume levels, especially your guitar's volume knob, can produce more controlled distortion that sounds great on rhythm and lead. A bias knob on the outside controls how much power is going to the transistors in the fuzz circuit. Less power sounds more distorted and gated, more power has more sustain and body. I've built these in many different varieties but the most recent batches here have become standardized. The first edition of 27 were made in 2013 with the generous help of this kickstarter campaign.
